PICT Podcasts Inspire at Oxford and Harvard

Vintage chrome microphone laid among red and brown leather books, sheet music, floral fabric and red berries on dark stone

PICT’s podcast offerings have inspired the Oxford Critical Theory Network at the University of Oxford to launch its own podcast and have received a favorable mention in a Harvard University blog.

The Oxford podcast, named “Teddie Cast” after the philosopher Theodor Adorno, promises its audience a variety of topics, ranging from “thinking about what it means to read, to learning about Jewish scholars who studied at British universities during the Third Reich.” Lillian Hingley, Convenor of the Oxford Critical Theory Network and host of the Teddie Cast, describes her podcast as “inspired by the various quarantine podcasts offered by the Paris Institute for Critical Thinking (PICT).” At Harvard University, PICT podcasts are mentioned in the blog “Around the World in 80 Books” by David Damrosch, chair of Harvard’s Department of Comparative Literature and founder of Harvard’s Institute for World Literature.

We would like to thank all PICT collaborators whose dedicated volunteer work makes our podcasts possible, our listeners whose engagement has made the podcasts such a success, and our colleagues at Oxford and Harvard for helping us spread the word!
